I found the '70 vette that I eventually purchased from Keystone Corvettes online, and by all appearances it was a great deal. I live in Lawrence, Kansas a trek of ~1,000 miles, so doing business from this distance poses a good deal of difficulty compared to a local purchase. It seemed fairly obvious from phone calls to Joe that he was passing along all the information he had on the car. He pointed out every imperfection that was on the vehicle and then agreed to hold the car until I got a chance to see it myself, a week later. We agreed on a price over the phone and I bought a one way plane ticket, with the intent of driving the car home. I was actually rather surprised to learn that Joe was completely honest with me over the phone and that the car was as advertised. Pricing, by the way, was very fair from the start- Joe prices his vettes reasonably. I came away from the deal thinking that it was unusual for a dealer to be interested in a deal good for both parties, rather than trying to squeeze the customer to a breaking point. Additionally, Joe spent half a day helping me return my rental car and getting the title work done. I brought a tool kit- assuming that I would have some difficulty driving a 44 year old car half way across the country, but as it turned out, never needed it. The car is mechanically sound, and I had a hell of a good time driving it back. Much thanks Joe, and best of luck!
